David spotlighted Kenny & Zuke's in Gourmet Magazine as one of two shops that represent the future of delicatessen. He also named Kenny & Zuke's as one of the top 10 delicatessens in North America.

David set out on a journey across the United States and around the world in search of authentic delicatessen, cataloging the best dishes and quickly disappearing specialties. He knows pastrami. He knows bagels. He knows chopped liver. Learn about David's favorite spots, his favorite dishes, tell him about yours, listen to him tell stories about the characters who have been slicing pastrami by hand for 30 years, whose grandparents invented the foods you love. And eat.

DIY Deli

  • Pastrami Lovers: Our specialty. Cured for 5 days, smoked for 10 hours, steamed tender, and hand-sliced. Made with local, natural beef. Platter also includes bread, pickles, and condiments. $10.25 per person (minimum 8)
  • New York, NY: Make edible skyscrapers of pastrami, corned beef, Kosher salami, and chopped liver with this over-sized platter of traditional deli meats. Platter also includes bread, pickles, and condiments. $13.25 per person (minimum 8)
  • The Kitchen Sink: A dazzling array of all things sandwich, including pastrami, corned beef, turkey, roast beef, Kosher salami, imported swiss, chopped liver, tuna salad, and egg salad. Platter also includes bread, pickles, and condiments. $16.25 per person (minimum 8)
  • Meat Ball Heroes: 12 perfect beef and veal meatballs in a sweet and zesty marinara, aged provolone for topping, and 6 crusty rolls - you do the rest. $31.75
  • Chili Dog Kit: 6 garlicky all-beef Sabrett hot dogs for you to grill or boil, a quart of Ken's beef and hominy chili, enough grated cheddar and chopped onions for topping, and 6 of our house-baked buns. $24.75

Ready-to-Eat

  • We Make ‘Em, You Eat ‘Em: Ready-made 1/2 sandwiches. Choose from three of the following for your platter: pastrami, corned beef, Kosher salami, roast beef, turkey, chicken salad, egg salad, tuna salad. $7.50 per person (minimum 8)
  • Pastrami Sliders: Mini pastrami sandwiches on cocktail rye with russian dressing to make them slide down easy. $6.75 per person (minimum 8) Add $1.00 per person for cheese
  • Mini Bagel Dogs: Hand-made bagel dough wrapped around a NY Sabrett hot dog. $3.75 per person (minimum 12)
  • Knish Bites: Well, two or three bites, actually, but really good ones. Caramelized onions and mashed potatoes wrapped in a flaky pastry shell. $4.75 per person (minimum 12)
  • House-Baked Soft Pretzels, $2.25 each
