A word to all you Vegetarians out there: I've heard it said occasionally that Kenny and Zuke's Delicatessen - being the haven of all things meat that it is - is not the most hospitable place for a Vegetarian diet. Au contraire! In fact, I would say that not only do uphold the traditional Jewish dairy restaurant respect for non-meat dishes, but I'd venture to say that - save for strictly Vegetarian restaurants - we have as good a selection of dishes as most places in Portland. We've generally got two Vegetarian soups, Knishes, Pickle Plates, Potato Latkes, Blintzes, an assortment of Salads that can all be made without meat, a variety of Omelettes and Breakfast Potatoes, a Vegetarian Reuben, and a Veggie Burger that we make ourselves. You could make it work!

We at Kenny and Zuke's hope you all have a terrific Summer!
